Papua New Guinea is excited to welcome visitors and residents for the Chiefs’ participation in the National Rugby League
There will be new visa arrangements for visiting Players, Club Officials, Fans, Administrators, Journalists, and NRL Project Workers travelling to PNG for Chiefs home games and Chiefs commitments. New visa arrangements will also be introduced for Chiefs Players, Club Officials, other Chiefs employees, and their family members, residing in PNG.

Visa for visiting Players and Club Officials
- Applies to matches, training and events
- Allows multiple entries of up to 30 days
- Valid for up to 12 months
- Travel to and from PNG for the duration of your visa
Visa for Fans
- For fans travelling to PNG to attend Chiefs matches
- Allows multiple entries of up to 30 days
- Valid for up to 12 months
- Travel to and from PNG for the duration of your visa
Visa for Administrators
- For non-NRL club individuals visiting PNG short-term for business related to Chiefs’ matches or activities.
- Allows multiple entries of up to 30 days
- Valid for up to 12 months
- Travel to and from PNG for the duration of your visa
Visa for Journalists
- For Journalism activities related to the Chiefs
- Existing approval processes for Journalists to enter PNG will apply
- Allows multiple entries of up to 30 days
- Valid for 12 months
- Travel to and from PNG for the duration of your visa
Visa for PNG NRL Project Workers
- For visiting project workers engaged on the broader PNG NRL Project
- Allows multiple entries of up to 30 days
- Valid for 12 months
- Travel to and from PNG for the duration of your visa

- For Players, Officials and employees of the Chiefs, and their family members, residing in PNG
- Allows multiple entries for the duration of the visa
